Who We Are

For just over 70 years, the employees of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), World Health Organization (WHO) worldwide, and global health community have put their trust in us. It's an assurance we do not take lightly. That's why we live and work by a set of guiding principles, including our core purpose, mission, vision, and values.

At a credit union, the Board of Directors helps shape and define the direction of the not-for-profit financial institution. These directors are volunteers and are elected by the credit union membership to represent their combined interests over a set term.

The Supervisory Committee is an independent body appointed by the Board of Directors tasked with ensuring the financial stability and operational soundness of the Credit Union. In practice, the Committee's primary task is to oversee the work of internal and external auditors in their performance of the annual financial statement audit and regular reviews of internal controls.

Each year, we create an Annual Report for our members. In it, you'll find the Credit Union's achievements and overall financial information for the year.
