The Credit Union Will Be Closed on August 31, 2026
On Sept 1, 2026, we will welcome HEMA FCU members to our family as we start a new chapter as Bienestar Federal Credit Union. As part of this process, there will be some service disruption.
THE CREDIT UNION WILL BE CLOSED ON AUGUST 31, 2026
- The Credit Union Will Be Closed - The branch and Member Contact Center will be closed. Digital Banking, which includes Online and Mobile Banking as well as Bill Pay, will also be unavailable
- International Wire Transfers Must Be Completed Friday, August 28 - In order to prepare for the Monday closure, the deadline for International Wire Transfers will be extended to 2 pm on August 28
- Member Contact Center Hours Extended On Friday, August 28 - The Member Contact Center will remain open until 5 pm
- Schedule Bill Payments By Friday, August 28 - We strongly recommend scheduling any bill payments you typically make at the end of the month or beginning of the following month by August 28
- Digital Banking - Digital Banking will be unavailable beginning at 8 pm on Sunday, August 30 until system access is restored

A New Chapter As Bienestar FCU Begins September 1
As Bienestar FCU, we will continue to honor our roots, and our commitment to helping people live healthier financial lives will remain at the heart of everything we do. Through the expansion of the communities we serve, including the addition of HEMA FCU, we will continue to strengthen the credit union. This will allow for further investment in technology and talent, creating long-term viability for years to come.
