Fraud Alert : Fraudsters Posing as PAHO/WHO FCU employees

PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union will never call, text, or email you to ask for your password, PIN, one-time passcodes or online banking credentials. If you receive a suspicious call or text claiming to be PAHO/WHO FCU, do not share information or click on any links. Hang up and call us directly on 1.866.724.6328.

Scammers may impersonate the Credit Union and claim there’s urgent or suspicious activity on your account. They often spoof phone numbers or send texts/emails with links to fake websites to steal your information.

How to Protect Yourself

  • Do not trust caller ID – hang up and call a known number
  • Never share passwords, PINs, or passcodes
  • Do not click links in unsolicited messages
  • Ignore transaction requests you did not initiate
  • Monitor your account activity regularly

If something does not feel right, stop the interaction and contact us immediately on 1.866.724.6328.

Reminder:

PAHO/WHO FCU will never ask for sensitive information through unsolicited calls, texts, or emails.
